New haircut!! It's so short

Well the ends of my hair have been getting quite split lately(mostly due to all the straightening of it) so I decided it was time for a change. Annu's good friend who has just finished hairdressing trade school took on the hard task of trying to cut my hair as a picture i saw in a magazine. and what an awesome job she did.

Another Big Weekend-I've now been here 2 months. It has gone so quick!!!

Well this weekend has been quite busy again. Friday night Lauri came over and we catched Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. Although a bit weird, the movie was pretty good. The oompa loompa songs were so funny. And once again I forgot to take pictures. Lauri and me have now been going out for 1 month. How fast has that gone? Friday night my two host brother Teemu and Samppa and Samppa's wife Jenna arrived for the weekend.

Saturday morning Annu, my host dad, host mum, Teemu and Me went to see these undergroud caves about 15 km's from my house. Was really dark and cold inside and strangely enough, the ice things come up from the ground, not down from the roof. Spun me out heaps.

Saturday afternoon our local ice hockey team had a fundraiser down on the pond at the bottom of a hill near my house. There was an ice fishing competition and prizes were given for the ugliest fish, the smallest fish and something else which i dont remember. lol.

Saturday night I had my second host dad's 50th. I met lots of host relatives and some other women who hosted an exchange student last year who was from America. As the night was a pretty formal night, I had to brave the cold and wear a skirt.

Random Entry

Well my last week has been pretty quiet apart from the weekend. I haven't taken to many photos so here are just a few random ones. This is a picture of a Finlandia Vodka Bottle made out of Ice at the Big Snow Castle. i forgot to include it in my last entry.

Over the weekend, I travelled by train to Turku which is on the west side of Finland where I stayed with my one of my really good friends Jodi. We just had a really girls weekend catching up on gossip since we hadn't seen each other for about 6 weeks, although we do talk on the phone a couple of times a week.
